We hired LHR Windows & Doors (Ryan Sims and Chris Price) to replace our windows and front door, and the experience was excellent from the first meeting to the final walkthrough. Ryan and Chris are two of the most honest contractors you'll ever meet. They were straightforward about scope and pricing, no pressure, and everything they promised in writing is what showed up at our house. The proposal itself was unusually detailed: full-frame ProVia Endure Series windows with the DLA-UV glass package, simulated divided lite grids, custom sizing on most of the openings, expansion foam insulation in every opening, and coil-wrapped exterior capping on all the trim. None of the insert/sash-kit shortcuts you see from other companies. For the door we went with the Ironmax fiberglass slab in black, and it looks fantastic. It completely changed the feel of the front of the house. Scheduling and communication were easy throughout. The windows arrived and were installed exactly as promised. The install crew was efficient and thorough. They protected the interiors, hauled away all the old windows, and didn't leave a mess behind. The crews work specifically for LHR, and it shows: 10+ years of experience working in high-end homes, OSHA/AAMA and factory certified, and they back it with a lifetime labor warranty. The part that really sold us was the aftercare. After install we asked them to come back and adjust the caulking and weather stripping on the door, and they did it without a hint of complaint. The door hardware was genuinely hard to source, an odd size that we couldn't find anywhere, and they tracked it down and helped us order the right one rather than leaving us to figure it out. Honestly, the house just feels different now. Quieter, brighter, and the curb appeal is night and day. The neighbors have noticed too. Billing was clean and transparent the whole way through, invoiced in stages and paid by card with no surprises. We would not hesitate to recommend LHR to anyone doing windows or doors, and we look forward to using them again when we do the next phase of the house.+1

Michael Tyre72 days agoUpdated. Added the front door replacement (from single to frend door) to the earlier window install. Recommendations on door style and quality was on point! And as with the windows, the door install was thorough and well done. One of the installers said they had worked for Ryan for seven years. He has a great crew implementing great product. See the result and change in the door (blue was the original door).+2

The initial process was smooth and low-pressure, with Ryan taking the time to thoroughly answer questions, provide helpful visuals, and work within our budget. The timeline was clearly explained and communicated well throughout. Once the windows arrived, the staff was very courteous and easy to work with when scheduling installation. The install crew arrived exactly when expected and were very friendly. They were also incredibly considerate—working around us and even saving a specific window for last so we could continue about our day with minimal disruption. Paul Mracek247 days ago1,000% recommend Ryan and LHR Windows after using them for our whole house 55 window + front door project. Most importantly, Ryan’s integrity and customer service is second to none. He wants to be your first point of contact from the start of the sales process through manufacturer warranty claims. Luckily I haven’t had to do that yet, but have no doubt it’ll be taken care of correctly and promptly the first time – just like every other part of the experience. He has a good eye for design too. We got 3 quotes for from Apex, Window World, and LHR. LHR had the nicest window and French door products and were the middle price (WW looked cheap and cost was suspiciously low. Apex’s triple pane seemed like overkill, made the window tint darker, and added $10k+ cost). The installation and warranty plans felt highly credible like Apex’s. The installation team was uber professional and friendly and our 1.5 day project went off exactly as sold and described. Can’t recommend the LHR team enough. (Photo is before front door is painted)+0

Lawson Williams287 days agoWe recently used Ryan to for a project to replace our front door and the road facing windows in our house and he's honestly one of the best people I've had a chance to work with. He's super responsive, follows through, and is proactively communicating with you on next steps/timelines. Usually, people say that if you have an issue after the installation that they're happy to help, which in reality, never happens and you can never get a hold of them bc it's non revenue generating. This was not the case with Ryan...the lock on our new front door jammed, and he fast tracked his install crew to come back out the next week to fix the issue and now it works great. Ryan is high integrity and he cares about doing the right thing for the customer and it shows. I would easily recommend Ryan to anyone considering a new window/door project and we will definitely be using him for future work.+0

Bri D401 days agoWe just had all the windows in our home replaced. A project we kinda dreaded, I would do it all over again with LHR. They made everything easy. The price was lower than I expected. The install crew was the nicest, hardest working team I have ever had in my home. I would recommend them everyday of the week. Ryan stayed in contact from day one. He is friendly and informative. I wanted some untraditional windows and he listened and went with it, while still informing me of some drawbacks. Ryan kept in touch and came by each install day. The quality of the windows he uses is great, with a fair price point. I couldn't be any more pleased with the process and outcome.+0

Rebecca Daley520 days agoBased on so many local recommendations, we called Ryan Sims for a window quote. Compared to other window presentations we had, he made the presentation and quote process absolutely painless. It was less than an hour, but he answered all of our questions. He was also available very quickly by text and email when we had follow-up questions. Not only that, but his price also beat the other companies by quite a bit! He use to be with Apex Windows, but has actually started his own business, Lyndal Home Remodeling. We just signed the contract to upgrade our windows with him. I’ll update once the install process is done and let y’all know how everything went!+0
